No Smoking Day - Wednesday 11 March 2026

Wednesday 11 March is No Smoking Day, to help raise awareness about the dangers of smoking and help smokers quit we added some extra free drop-in 'quit smoking sessions' along with out regular drop-in sessions.

In collaboration with Women of Worth who are celebrating IWD, our Stop Smoking Advisor will be offering advice and support.

Bridge Community Church

One of our Stop Smoking Advisors will be offering advice and support.

Our free drop-in sessions offer advice and support and information on:

  • Quitting smoking
  • Help with long term health conditions
  • Healthy eating
  • Drinking less alcohol
  • Moving more

We can also offer:

  • Health checks - weight, BMI, blood pressure
  • Better breathing, guided imagery and relaxation techniques
  • Physical activity to improve your mood
  • Adult colouring as a tool for relaxation
  • Eating better-feeling better
  • Stop smoking support (Swap to Stop Scheme)
  • Menopause support, advice and information
  • Breastfeeding support and advice

Wellbeing classes at Ramsbottom Civic Hall

Chair-based exercise, suitable for anyone that want's to build their cardiovascular fitness, stamina and strength. Classes with Angela Wilkinson.
