Updates on progressing the Radcliffe Civic Hub project
Last updated: 21 June 2021
Preparatory works have begun in the Radcliffe Piazza area
The preparatory work will take approximately 8 weeks, lasting until mid to late July 2022. Work involves:
- Site surveys of the Market Chambers building and Market Basement to support the project's development.
- Trial utility pits (excavation work to assess ground conditions and locate existing underground utility services).
- The introduction of temporary fencing to secure the work and protect pedestrians.
Any noise and disruption due to this work will be kept to a minimum and access to businesses will be maintained at all times.
This is an exciting step forward towards improving Radcliffe town centre and we thank you for your patience and understanding whilst this work is carried out.
