Bury retail study
In 2012, Drivers Jonas Deloitte produced an updated draft Retail Study for Bury. The study forms part of the Local Plan evidence base and has been prepared to assess the need and capacity for additional retail floorspace within the borough up to 2028.
The study assesses the retail capacity for each of the catchment zones of the the borough's main town centres of Bury, Ramsbottom, Radcliffe and Prestwich.
Town centre masterplans and development frameworks
Masterplans and development frameworks have been produced for Bury, Radcliffe and Prestwich town centres in order to guide future development and regeneration within them.
These have been adopted as material planning considerations in dealing with planning applications and the documents can be found on our planning projects section.
