Bury town centre road closures
Peel Way - overnight closures
Peel Way will be closed overnight (8pm-6am) from Mon 27 July for 5 weeks.
Work will take place overnight from Jubilee Way to a point 50m east of Harvard Road.
Diversion will follow Jubilee Way, Angouleme Way, Rochdale Road and Derby Way and vice versa.
Rochdale Old Road - overnight closures
Rochdale Old Road ill be closed overnight (8pm to 6m) from Mon 27 July for 5 weeks.
Work will take place on the road from its junction with Chesham Fold Road to its junction with Martin Street.
Diversions will be via Bell Lane, Derby Way, Rochdale Road, Bury New Road, Bury Street, Bridge Street, Dawson Street eastbound/Market Street westbound, York Street, Queen’s Park Road, Bury & Rochdale Old Road and Rochdale Old Road & vice-versa
Market Street – until July 2026
Sections of Market Street will be closed until July 2026 for road safety improvements part of the Fishpool and Pimhole Bee Active Travel Scheme. The road will be closed at different points as the works progress along the road n five phases. When the road safety improvements are complete, resurfacing will be carried out requiring a full-length road closure for part of the process. Diversions will be clearly signed.

Radcliffe
Sewer repair work in Radcliffe meaning Blackburn Street, will be closed between between Dale St & Railway Street, from 20 July from 9pm-5am.
Work could take up to 5 days
Diversion via Railway Street, May Street, Green Street, Blackburn Street, Pilkington Way
