Ramsbottom Civic Hall is a perfect venue to hold events such as weddings, dances, celebrations and community events.

Getting to Ramsbottom Civic Hall

  • Bus: The nearest bus stop to the hall is Market Place (stop A), you can check local bus routes to plan your journey
  • Train: Ramsbottom Station is a 5 minute walk to the hall, check the East Lancashire Railway website for train times

If travelling by car, you can reach the hall via the M60 or Bury town centre. Parking is available behind the hall, at the top of the cobbled street.

From the M60:

  • Exit the M60 at junction 18 to join the M66
  • On the M66 at junction 1, take the A56 exit to Ramsbottom
  • At the end of the road, turn right onto Walmersley Road
  • Take the third left (at the traffic lights) to Bury New Road
  • Continue onto Bridge Street
  • After half a mile, you will see Ramsbottom Civic Hall beyond the large water feature on the square (The Tilted Urn)

From Bury town centre

Opposite the Rock Shopping Park, join the:

  • A58 Angouleme Way / Rochdale Road junction northwards
  • Merge onto the A56 Walmersley Road
  • After 3.4 miles, turn left at the traffic lights onto Bury New Road
  • Continue onto Bridge Street
  • After half a mile, you will see Ramsbottom Civic Hall beyond the large water feature on the square (The Tilted Urn)
