SENDCo and outside agencies to support the Key Person/Teaching Assistant to plan differentiated activities and strategies to support the young person.
Access to a sensory room or designated space. This can be particularly useful around transition points e.g. when entering school in the morning.
Use of targeted interventions such as How Does Your Engine Run? to promote the young person’s understanding of sensory-regulation.
Continue to liaise with any Health Professionals, as appropriate.
Ongoing monitoring and reviewing of specific strategies and advice given by professionals e.g. Occupational Therapists.
