Regular sessions include

For adults

  • Family History Club - every Friday 10am to 12 noon
  • Card making every Tuesday and Friday 10am to12noon (experienced and beginners welcome)
  • Councillors' surgeries - first Saturday of each Month 11am to 12 noon
  • Creative Writing Group Tuesday 12pm to 2pm
  • Homework Club every Thursday - 3.30pm to 5.30pm
  • 'Hooked on Crochet' every Wednesday 1pm - 3pm.
  • Knit and Natter Groups - Tuesdays 10am to12noon, Fridays 2pm to 4pm (experienced and beginners welcome)
  • Reading Groups - please ask staff for details
  • Scrabble Club every Friday 2pm to 4pm

For children (term time only) 

  • Lego Club - Saturdays 10.30am - 11.30am
  • Under 5s Rhyme Time - Tuesdays at 10.30am

Council Information Point

The library is a Council Information Point - bringing council services closer to home.


Access available for wheelchair users.
