Hello, I am Lynne Ridsdale, Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
I am currently Chief Executive of Bury Council and Bury's Placed Based Lead for Health.
I am a Human Resources professional by background and an active member of my professional body, the CIPD. I started my career with the Capita Group but quickly developed a love of public service and have subsequently worked at leadership level in Bolton Council, Manchester City Council and for the National Crime Agency.
I am also a Peer Reviewer within the Local Government Association network.
I am married with two children. I am very people-focused and value authenticity, commitment and sustainability - which fit well with the LET'S principles I was very proud to see my team establish.
