Council for Disabled Children

The Council for Disabled Children is an umbrella organisation for the disabled children's sector. They work to influence policy and practice and to amplify the voices of parents/carers and children and young people with SEND.

Scope

Scope is a disability equality charity in England and Wales that provide practical information and emotional support, including a telephone helpline and a free six-week telephone course for parents/carers which can be tailored to individual needs (emotional or practical support).

Cerebra

Cerebra is a national charity helping children with brain conditions and their families. Their website includes a range of information and guidance, from applying for funding, to sleep, toileting and emotional support.

Independent Provider of Special Education Advice (IPSEA)

IPSEA provides free and independent legally based information, advice and support to parents/carers.
