From Monday 8 June to Thursday 11 June, Spring Lane will be closed overnight between Bridgefield Street and Bury Road for essential works.
Why the work is happening
Morgan Sindall plc are completing the construction of Star Radcliffe Academy in preparation for the September 2026 intake.
As part of these works and following the completion of the new road junction last year, some essential remedial works are now required.
Road closure
Spring Lane will be closed overnight between Bridgefield Street and Bury Road.
This is to allow the work to be carried out safely.
Dates and times
- Monday 8 June to Thursday 11 June 2026
- 8pm to 6am each night
Work will be completed as quickly as possible to minimise disruption.

A signed diversion will be in place via:
