Household Support Fund
Funding is being made available to the Council through the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to help households experiencing financial hardship.
Free school meals
The Council will provide £15 vouchers to continue the free school meals scheme through the summer (July and August) holidays. Please contact your children's school if you have any queries regarding this.
Support for pensioners
A £100 payment is being given to every pensioner who receives council tax benefit. Payment will be via Post Office vouchers and is expected mid-August.

Support for vulnerable households
If you are struggling, you may be able to get help for food and fuel even if you are not in receipt of benefits. To find out if you can, speak to the Bury Community Hubs.
