Bury PRIDE 2018

#BuryPride2018 - Saturday 7 April, 11am to 6pm, Bury Town Hall

Bury Pride festival 2018 was an important occasion that brought people out onto the streets, celebrating equality and diversity together. It was also great fun to rejoice in Bury's warm and welcoming community.

Pop icon Toyah was this year's headline act who performed with a full band. The outdoor stage also hosted The Manchester Gay and Lesbian Chorus, Divas in Denial and fire eaters, Utopia UK all compared by our host Miss Sal Ford.

The Walking Rainbow Parade started from Bury Town Hall in Knowsley Street, and weaved its way through the Culture Quarter and all the way up to The Rock and back, taking in major landmarks along the way. Led by Mr Wilson's Second Liners, the parade was a vibrant, colourful celebration of equality and diversity.

There was also lots more family-friendly entertainment including:

  • live music and comedy on three stages
  • food and drink
  • stalls and lots more
