Bury Licensing Policy
Bury's Licensing Policy 2021-2026
Bury Licensing Policy explains how we make licensing decisions in Bury. The decisions are made in line with the Licensing Act 2003 and its associated guidance. It relates to the licensable activities listed in the Act which are summarised as follows.
- Retail sales of alcohol
- The supply of alcohol by or on behalf of a club
- Providing regulated entertainment
- Providing music, and music for dancing
- Providing late night hot refreshment at any time between 11pm and 5am for consumption on or off the premises.
Bury's Licensing Policy 2021-26 was approved at full Council on the 25 November 2020 and came into effect on 7 January 2021.
