Primary school admissions
Thank you for your application. In light of the Covid 19 pandemic, Bury Council has postponed all in-year and transfer appeals scheduled to be held in April/May 2020. This will be regularly reviewed in conjunction with expected updated guidance from the Department for Education.
Please continue to submit any appeals and the appeals team will log and action these submissions when guidance does become available from the DFE.
National Offer Day is 16 April, if you applied online you will receive an email in the morning of the 16th, if you applied via a paper form or over the telephone, please could you ring the Admissions Team on 0161 253 6474 or email them at email@example.com to receive your results from 16th April.
Useful information before making your application
To be able to apply for a place in a Bury School, you must be resident in Bury. If you live outside Bury, you must apply through your home authority.
