About Bury HAF
The Bury Holiday Activities and Food Programme (Bury HAF), offers free, exciting activities and healthy food to children of primary or secondary school age that receive benefits related free school meals.
Our HAF programme offers many different exciting and interesting activities for children with various needs, at varying SEND levels.
Winter HAF 2025
Our Winter HAF programme ran from Sunday 14 December 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026. Activities included football, martial arts, swim/gym/sports, nature activities, arts and crafts, archery, festive games and much more!
The numbers
- 19 providers offered 3666 places with 2887 (79%), of them being booked
- Of these, 12 providers offered activities for SEND levels 2 or above
- 2070 SEND level 2 or above places were offered with 1705 being booked
Easter HAF 2026
Activities for our Easter 2026 provision start on Monday 6 April and run through to Friday 17 April. Activities and providers will be published on our website once they’re confirmed.
Booking activities for Easter HAF 2026
Booking for Easter HAF 2026 is open from Monday 2 March 2026.
You will receive an email from hello@holidayactivities.com with a link to login, claim your voucher code and start booking activities.
If you’ve not received them by Monday 2 March, please speak to the school’s receptionist office.
