Using a Blue Badge in Bury

You must be in the vehicle, either as the driver or as a passenger, when your badge is being used, or being picked up.

There are designated disabled spaces in car parks throughout the borough, for the use of Blue Badge holders, where you can park for free. You can also park for up to 3 hours on single or double yellow lines.

Replace a lost or stolen Blue Badge

Request a Blue Badge replacement for a badge that's been lost, stolen or damaged. You can request it for yourself or someone else.

If your badge is lost or has been stolen, please report this to the police on non-emergency telephone number 101 and ask for a crime reference number. Once you have a crime number you should then ring us to order a replacement badge on telephone number 0161-253-6855. You will need the crime number to order your replacement badge, together with a debit card to pay the re-issue charge of £10 for a replacement badge. A replacement badge is valid until the expiry date of the original badge.

If your badge is due to expire in less than 3 months, you need to reapply instead, see Blue Badge scheme.
