A welcome from the chair
We are working with Transport for Greater Manchester to deliver the Bee Network – Greater Manchester’s integrated, low-cost, high-frequency public transport network, bringing together local trams, buses and hire bikes – and ultimately local train services – with the largest walking, wheeling and cycling network in the country.
We want the Bee Network to meet the needs of Bury’s residents, businesses and visitors when travelling within and beyond the borough – that means delivering on providing cleaner, cheaper and more reliable public transport.
By bringing transport back under public control we can ensure that residents have a real voice over their buses, trams, trains and active travel, unlocking more opportunities for our residents and businesses.
As well as chairing Bury Local Bee Network Forum, I am also one of Bury’s representatives on the Greater Manchester Bee Network Committee.
The Bury Local Bee Network Forum is your opportunity to find out more and influence what's happening with local transport here in the Bury borough and across Greater Manchester.
Forum meetings
The forum meets once every three months and everyone is welcome to attend.
