Bury Market will be open for business throughout the regeneration project, including during the construction phase of the Flexi Hall and while enhancement works are carried out to the outdoor market.

Site works update - May 2026
Flexi hall
- External brickwork has completed and work to install the timber cladding has started
- Windows have been installed on the external walls
- Roof works and works to install solar panels is complete
- Internal walls are installed and plastering has started
- Ceilings and floors are being installed on the first floor
- Landscaping works continue to improve the surrounding public spaces
Site works - stages
- September to November 2025: Complete market canopies installation
- December 2025 to February 2026: Continue flexi hall construction and work starts on creating quality public spaces around the market.
- March to May 2026: Continue landscaping improvements and flexi hall internal works.
- June 2026: Scheme completion
