New canopies are currently being installed to create a more attractive and visible outdoor market and demolition works are in progress making way for the Flexi Hall construction starting in the summer.

Bury Market will be open for business throughout the regeneration project, including during the construction phase of the Flexi Hall and while enhancement works are carried out to the outdoor market.

- Canopy 1: put in place steel work
- Canopy 2: install wooden timbers
- Install drainage
- Reinstate kerbs on Murray Road

- Remove the Admiral building foundations
- Clear the site and prepare the pile mat
- Install drainage
- Demolish existing substation
