Allowing us access

Allowing us access to your home is important so that we can carry out essential safety checks, repairs and inspections that keep you, your household and your neighbours safe.

When access is not provided, it can put individuals at risk and delay important work such as gas servicing, electrical safety checks or urgent repairs. As your landlord, we have a legal and regulatory responsibility to ensure home is safe and well maintained. This is set out by the Regulator of Social Housing’s Safety and Quality Standard, which requires us to meet all statutory health and safety obligations.

By working together and providing us access when appointments are arranged, you are helping us meet these requirements and ensuring your home remains safe, secure and compliant.
