Your rent is payable every week in advance, but you may also choose to pay it fortnightly or monthly in advance.
There are many different ways to pay your rent using your Rent Reference Number.
Online
You can pay your rent online at any time. Make a payment.
You can also pay using the Allpay website and smartphone app on Android or Apple.
Direct Debit
You can set your payment terms to pay:
- on the 1st, 10th or 20th of each month.
You can setup a Direct Debt by emailing us at housingenquiries@bury.gov.uk. Please confirm which payment date you require.
You will need your rent reference number to make a payment, which can be found on your payment card or on any rent letters and statements you have received.
Standing order
To pay by standing order or using online banking, you will need the following details to make a payment:
- Your rent account number, you will need to quote this as your payment reference number

Rent payments can be made 24 hours a day by calling our payment line on 0161 686 8000 and then selecting "Option 1".
PayPoint/Post Office
Use your Allpay payment card at any post office or look out for the Yellow PayPoint sign at most newsagents and local shops.
