Rufford Drive Day of Action

On Tuesday 28 July, a Day of Action took place across the Rufford Drive area, bringing together local teams and residents to support and improve the neighbourhood.

Together, we collected 4.34 tonnes of waste, with the skips filled to capacity and the cage emptied three times throughout the day. Support was provided for garden and household clear-outs, general tidying around the estate, and fun activities for children.

It was great to see residents getting involved, making full use of the skips and contributing to the day’s success. We engaged with a total of 75 residents and completed 4 tenant satisfaction survey completed. Residents shared positive feedback, including:

“It’s always good to see you come around to speak to us, we feel better when there’s some presence every now and again.”

“It’s a good thing to do. Thank you.”

34 volunteers from local services and groups took part, all working together to help keep the estate clean, safe and welcoming.
