Harwood House Garden Makeover Success

On 1 July, tenants joined us for a community gardening day, supported by Calico and Pathfinder.

After tenants at Harwood House told us that part of the garden was looking tired and in need of a makeover, we set out to create a space that residents could enjoy.

We have lots of volunteers attend to lend a helping hand, including Councillor Yvonne Wright, who kindly donated to the project as well as volunteer her time on the day.

After all the hard work, everyone enjoyed coffee and cake, followed by a quiz and raffle with prizes kindly donated by Calico. We raised £32 through the raffle, which was donated to the Homeless Project.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this project a success. The garden has been transformed into a brighter, more welcoming space for residents to enjoy.
