Ainsworth Day of Action!

On Thursday 21 May, a Day of Action took place across the Ainsworth Estate, bringing together local teams and residents to support and improve the neighbourhood.

Together, we collected 1.88 tonnes of waste, with the skip filled to capacity and the cage emptied three times throughout the day. Support was provided for garden and household clear-outs, as well as general tidying around the estate, including outside the library and surrounding streets. Teams also spoke directly with residents to listen to local feedback and carried out litter picking across the area.

It was great to see residents getting involved, making full use of the skip and contributing to the day’s success. We engaged with a total of 57 residents, with 6 neighbourhood surveys and 1 tenant satisfaction survey completed. Residents shared positive feedback, including:

“It’s a lovely area to live in.”

“It’s great to see all the staff helping out at the event.”

A 43 volunteers from local services and groups took part, all working together to help keep the estate clean, safe and welcoming.
