Many premises are licensed around the Bury borough for marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. Ceremonies at a licensed venue are performed by our Registration Service officers.
You must give notice of marriage or civil partnership to your local Register Office and:
- have made a provisional booking at the venue you intend to hold the ceremony
- confirmed if registrars from the Bury Register Office are able to attend to register and conduct the ceremony at your chosen venue.
