If you need help with things such as Council Tax, Council Rent, Housing Benefit, Business Rates, welfare benefits (including Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Attendance Allowance), benefit entitlement checks, or crisis support, you can access free face-to-face support from our Resident Support Hubs.

Our advisers can help you understand what support is available, check that you're receiving all the benefits you're entitled to, assist with applications and provide guidance during difficult circumstances.

You can visit our main support hubs Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, at:

  • Bury Town Hall, 2 Knowsley Place Knowsley Street, Bury BL9 0SN
  • Reception area at Radcliffe Primary Care Centre, 69 Church Street West, Radcliffe M26 2SP

In addition to our main hubs, we also offer regular drop-in sessions at community locations across the borough, making it easier for residents to access support closer to home.

Drop-in locations:

  • Chesham Family Hub, 25 Dorset Drive, Bury BL9 9DN – Wednesdays 9am-12pm
  • Whitefield Live Well Centre, Albert Road, Whitefield M45 8NH – Wednesdays 1pm-5pm
  • Growing Together Radcliffe, Westminster Avenue, Radcliffe M26 3WD – second Friday of every month 10am-12pm

No appointment is required for drop-in sessions. If you're worried about your finances, struggling to meet household costs, or need advice about benefits and council-related support, please speak to one of our advisers who will be happy to help.
