If you’ve not received the email by Monday 24 November, please speak to the school’s receptionist office.
How to book
If your child is eligible, you will be sent an email or text from 'Holiday Activities' explaining how to set up a 'Holiday Activities account', receive 'Holiday Activity vouchers' and use the 'Holiday Activity' booking system.
On your account, you will be able to see all available activities, dates and times, any age restrictions and suitability levels and book on to them using the voucher code.
Once an account has been created, parents or carers of eligible children will receive a 'Holiday Activities' code via text or email to use to book onto the sessions.
Each voucher code will equate to four, four-hour sessions, which will be displayed as four credits on your 'Holiday Activities' dashboard.
Haven't received a code?
If your child attends a Bury school and you do not receive a voucher code, please speak to the school office.
If your child attends a school outside of Bury, please contact the HAF team haf@bury.gov.uk and they will support with any queries.
Holiday club support - choosing activities for children with additional needs
In response to feedback, we have streamlined the booking process for the families of children with additional needs to make it clear what suitability support level is available at each holiday club.
So that you can choose activities with the most suitable support for your child, we have identified four key categories to clearly show the level of care that each of our holiday clubs can provide.
These range from Level 1 (mild needs, fairly independent), through to Level 4 (more severe needs, dedicated support needed).
About the four suitability support levels
This club will be suitable for children and young people who have mild needs, who are able to go to the toilet and eat their lunch with correct supervision but do not need direct support in doing so.
This level is suitable for children who do not present risky behaviours such as being of harm to themselves or others.
Please let the activity provider know any relevant information that may affect your child's experience.
This club will be suitable for children and young people who have moderate needs, those who may need direct support with personal care and may need one to one support with eating their lunch.
Please let the activity provider know any relevant information and/or a copy of the child's personal care plan in advance of the session.
This club will be suitable for children and young people who are known to demonstrate risky behaviours such as being of harm to themselves or others.
It would be expected that increased staffing numbers are a standard to accommodate the children's needs and requirements.
Please let the activity provider know any relevant information and/or a copy of the child's personal care plan in advance of the session.
This club will be suitable for children and young people who have moderate to severe needs, those who may need direct support with personal care and may need one to one support with eating their lunch.
These children and young people may also be known to demonstrate risky behaviours such as being of harm to themselves or others.
Please let the activity provider know all relevant information and provide them with a copy of the child's EHCP plan in advance of the session.
SEND providers
Providers offering SEND accessible activities give clear guidance of their provision to ensure you are well informed as to the suitability of the activities.
Please ensure that you give the provider as much information as possible relating to the level of support and care your child will need to enable them to give the best possible experience to your child.
Our providers do their utmost to support children with SEND where possible.

The Jewish Federation
We provide a range of support services to children and young people in our on-site Children’s Centre. These include one to one support, family support, afterschool clubs, play schemes, seasonal camps and regular days out.
All of the children and young people (CYP) supported by our service have complex physical and learning disabilities as well as health and social care needs. The majority of the children are from the Jewish community. They are disadvantaged in numerous ways including through ill health, complex disabilities, poverty, caring responsibilities, safeguarding issues, parental ill health or large, chaotic families. Many of those we support live in areas of high levels of deprivation and live in food and fuel poverty as well as poor housing.
We are offering two sessions, one will be a Chanukah party, with culturally sensitive celebrations, food and activities.
The other will be a Sunday afternoon play session, both sessions will include:
- Arts
- Crafts
- Baking including as focus on nutrition and healthy eating
- Outdoor play
- Gardening tending our sensory garden with herbs
- There will be the chance for plenty of free play with other children
Accessible, free transport will be provided to enable children and young people to attend and get home.
We will offer 8 children from Bury a place on our playscheme. The children will be aged 4-15 years old. Children will undertake health and fitness activities for at least one hour a day. The sessions will be offered to children in Bury living with complex disabilities and social care needs.
The sessions will take place in our Children’s Centre which is a bright modern building with specialist play equipment and adaptations for disabled children as well as toys and books. There is a sensory garden where children can spend time outdoors. The majority of the children who will attend the groups will have a limited social life due to their health conditions. They may require one to one support in a calm and well-staffed environment.
We know from talking to children themselves and their families that they love coming to the centre and value the chance to play with friends their own age and try new experiences. The cohort of disabled children currently supported are maturing and require highly complex support packages to allow them to participate in Jewish cultural/social life.
Our staff ratios (sometimes two to one), have increased so we can remain accessible. There is no provision locally that caters for Jewish children with complex disabilities from across the spectrum of religious observance. Our project is open to all Jewish children in the community, whether religious or not.
Our staff are trained and experienced at providing specialist care to this cohort of children. All staff undergo an enhanced DBS check and regular training. We will undertake cooking with the children and encourage children to participate in meal preparation. Many of the activities we will offer are focused on building children’s confidence and social skills as many struggle to socialise.
We will offer exercises and activities that build up children’s self-esteem and will provide plenty of praise and feedback and have as much fun as possible.

Azamrah Youth Club
Imagine a world where disadvantaged children can break free from the shackles of their circumstances, unleash their unbridled energy, and discover a sense of freedom through the pure joy of physical activity!
Our holiday playscheme is dedicated to delivering just that - a transformative experience that gets hearts pumping and nurtures a lifelong appreciation for an active, healthy lifestyle. We will craft the "Azamrah Move" physical activity programme in collaboration with local experts and volunteers, tailored specifically to cater to the unique needs and abilities of our participants.
Kicking off each day with high-energy warm-ups featuring group games we'll build camaraderie while getting everyone moving. Participants will have the chance to explore an exciting array of outdoor ball sports. To keep the excitement alive, we’ll introduce challenges like a “sports Day,” where teams can compete in fun, non-traditional events such as three-legged races and egg-and-spoon relays. We’ll organize outdoor adventure days that include activities like, trampoline parks, swimming, and indoor wall climbing.
Throughout , we'll capture the fun through photographs and videos, collect feedback from participants and parents, and provide regular progress updates, ensuring that we adapt the programme based on their needs.
Through this dynamic "Azamrah Move" initiative, we will empower disadvantaged children to overcome barriers, build confidence, and ignite a passion for lifelong physical activity, all while creating cherished memories and friendships in a supportive, celebratory environment where they can thrive!
At our holiday playscheme, we are deeply committed to creating a vibrant and engaging environment that fosters creativity and essential skills through simple yet impactful daily enrichment activities.
Imagine children gathered around colourful tables, immersed in arts and crafts, where they can craft dazzling seasonal decorations and heartfelt cards, allowing their imaginations to run wild.
Our storytelling sessions will spark wonder, encouraging kids to share their own adventurous tales, thereby nurturing their confidence and communication abilities.
Group games like races and competitions will fill the air with laughter, promoting teamwork and problem-solving skills while ensuring everyone has a blast.
The highlight will undoubtedly be our “Talent Show Days,” where each child is given the chance to shine, showcasing their unique talents - be it singing, dancing or acting - in a warm, supportive atmosphere.
To capture the essence of these experiences, we’ll diligently track participation and gather feedback, celebrating their growth and the joy they bring to each activity. By the end of our playscheme, children will leave not only with cherished memories and new friendships but also with a newfound love for creativity and self-expression.

At Absolute Futbol, we’re more than just sports coaches — we’re passionate about giving every child a place to belong, learn, and thrive during the school holidays.
Our team has years of experience working in schools and the community, and we know what it takes to make a child’s day unforgettable, while supporting families and the wider community.
You can expect our HAF sessions to provide physical activity, active bodies and happy minds.
Every single day of our camp includes a minimum of 60 minutes of physical activity, meeting and often exceeding CMO guidelines.
But we don’t stop there - our sessions are built around variety, enjoyment, and progress. Whether it’s team games, fun relays, dance, or skill-building drills, there’s something for everyone — no matter their ability or confidence level.
Children can also earn achievement awards, build their physical literacy, and explore long-term opportunities through our pathways into local clubs and grassroots sport.

Our purpose is to capacity build and develop confidence and resilience for young people, long-term NEET and others who need our help and support. We do this by encouraging individuals to access the many benefits of nature and animals whilst contributing to the development of local community green spaces, climate change projects, conservation and social action projects.

Bee Inclusive
Social activities for children/young people with Special Education Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), for Primary and Secondary aged children.
All of our activities are exclusively booked so that our families feel as comfortable as possible. Bee Inclusive acts as the booking agent for the activities and generally uses external providers.
Due to the varying complexities of the children/young people's needs, at all our activities a parent/carer must stay to supervise their child/young person.
This supports peer-peer support between parents/carers and helps promote a network of support and friendship for children/young people.
Trampolining and soft play - This is a 2 hour activity of trampolining and soft play, catering for primary and secondary aged children/young people.
This is an exclusive booking for children/young people with SEND only. This means that our families will have the whole of Jump Xtreme to themselves, allowing plenty of space between families.
Parent/carers can support children on the trampolines if their needs require it, and this builds on the offer of supporting family fun.
Children can freely move between the soft play area, “That Fun Place” and the trampolining area, so they have a choice of activity. A cold food option from Bury Council Catering will be provided.

We’ve worked across a variety of educational settings and bring extensive experience supporting young people with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning differences.
Our qualifications reflect a deep commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding. We hold Fully Qualified Teaching Status and currently work in SEN teaching roles. We are DBS certified and registered on the update system, ensuring ongoing compliance and safety. Our academic backgrounds include BA (Hons) Degrees in Physical Education and PGCEs in Physical Education, alongside additional training in Psychology, Asperger Support, and Dyslexia-Friendly teaching practices.
Our activity programme includes sports, gardening, arts and crafts, and nature hikes — all designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, and a connection to the outdoors. These experiences help young people develop emotional resilience and social skills in a relaxed, nurturing setting.
To deepen community involvement and support sustainability, we also plan seasonal fundraising events. These may include creative stalls where young people can sell handmade festive wreaths, baked goods, or craft items. We do this by encouraging individuals to access the many benefits of nature and animals whilst contributing to the development of local community green spaces, climate change projects, conservation and social action projects.
We host innovative, creative enterprising projects using a combination of the great outdoors, nature, conservation, enterprise skills, equine therapy, health and well-being coaching, team work and confidence building to help young people develop confidence and aspire to great things for themselves and their communities.
