Purpose(s)
We collect your personal information for the following purpose(s):
- to enable us to undertake a comprehensive assessment of the anti-social behaviour you are experiencing. Without this information we would be unable to take the most appropriate action to resolve your complaint.

In order to carry out these purposes we collect and obtain:
- names of everyone involved (including witnesses)
- addresses

The legal basis for processing your personal information is:
- Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014

We may share personal information about you with the following types of organisations:
- the police
As well as information collected directly from you, we also obtain or receive information from:
- the people that you are complaining about
- the police
- your housing provider (if applicable)
- other local authority departments

Data retention / criteria
Our retention schedule outlines how long we retain certain types of information:
- Cases of anti-social behaviour are retained for 6 years from the date the case is closed.
