Under the Sunday Trading Act 1994, the opening hours of large shops (internal sales areas of over 280 square metres) are restricted to:
- the six hours you want to trade, which must be between the hours of 10am and 6pm, and
- remain closed on Easter Sunday and on Christmas Day when it falls on a Sunday.
Large shops no longer need to be registered with us to trade on Sundays.
