Victoria Estate Action Day

On Thursday 25th July, we held an Estate Action Day around Victoria Estate in Whitefield which allowed tenants free use of skips to clear any rubbish they had and to get involved with litter picking around the area.

A number of partners were there to provide advice and support including Bury Housing Staff, Waste Management, Councillors and Greater Manchester Police.

Altogether, we cleared over five tonnes of waste for tenants. 21 satisfaction surveys were also completed which allow us to look at what tenants think of our service and figure out where we can make improvements.

One tenant from Victoria estate said: "We really appreciate it, we were putting stuff in the back garden with the aim to move it, and it just got bigger and bigger until we didn’t know how to tackle it! Knowing that you were there to help made all the difference, so thanks!"

Outwood Estate, Radcliffe, on Wednesday 21st August 11am - 3pm
Warth Estate, Bury, on Tuesday 24th September 11am - 1pm
