Topping Fold Community Centre receive funding thanks to SureServe Foundation

Topping Fold Tenant’s and Resident’s Association (TRA) have been awarded £5000 thanks to the SureServe Foundation to help keep their Community Centre open!

The dedicated volunteers from Topping Fold TRA Community Centre work tirelessly to help support the local people living on the estate. Unfortunately, they got into some difficulty facing an unexpected utility bill which was a stressful situation to be in. The group set up a gofundme page and held a fundraising event, to raise monies towards paying the bill.

Our Tenant Engagement Team reached out to one of our main contractors Sure Gas Maintenance, who directed us to the SureServe Foundation which provides funding to cover fuel poverty. Thanks to their help, Topping Fold TRA were successfully awarded £5000 to clear their debt and to ensure the centre can continue with the great work it does and ensure the local children have a very Merry Christmas!
