Gas Safety Week 2025: Looking After Your Home, Friends and Family

This week, from 8th–14th September, it’s Gas Safety Week 2025, a nationwide campaign led by the Gas Safe Register. This year’s theme, “Looking after your home, friends and family,” reminds us that gas safety isn’t just about appliances, it’s about protecting the people and places we care about most.

We’d like to remind tenants that we are required by law to conduct annual gas safety checks on all gas appliances. These checks allow us to identify potential unsafe gas appliances can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning, gas leaks, fires, and even explosions. For you and your family’s safety, it’s important to allow us access for these inspections and report any issues with your gas appliances immediately.
