Christmas events ran across Bury

Over December, plenty of Christmas spirit and cheer was being spread in our communities and Independent Living Schemes!

12 events were run within our Independent Living Schemes organized by staff and tenants. Aiming to help tackle social isolation and bring people together, tenants could enjoy Christmas dinners, crafts, live music and games.

Christmas events were also run by Chesham Fold Tenant’s and Resident’s Association and Topping Fold Community Group. Topping Fold held a Christmas fair where they managed to raise £900 for the community centre. Chesham Fold also ran a Christmas party for local children where everyone received a gift and could enjoy music and a buffet.

Thank you very much to all those who volunteered to help run these events and we hope you all had a lovely Christmas!
