Action days help estates across Bury

Since July, we have held 5 Estate Action Days for tenants across Bury. The aim of these events is to allow tenants free use of skips so they could clean their homes and gardens, engage with tenants to discuss any issues or repairs they’d like to report, and clean up around the estate to improve the look of the neighbourhood.

Over these 5 events, we have helped tenants clear over 22 tonnes of rubbish. We have also engaged with 189 tenants which included reporting repairs jobs, completed surveys and helping them dispose of items.

Our next Estate Action Day will be taking place on Townside Estate in February. Full details of the Action Day will be announced in the new year.
