At Bury Housing Services, your voice makes a difference. We have various ways for you to get involved and to share your views to help improve services and develop communities.
Our dedicated team of Tenant Engagement Officers work to make communities across Bury a better place to live.
Role of the team:
- Set up and support community groups to deliver local projects to help tackle a range of issues such as, social isolation, cost of living, environmental issues and anti-social behaviour.
- Deliver free training opportunities (both accredited and non-accredited courses).
- Develop volunteers to make a difference in their community.
- Provide a collective voice for tenants to help shape Bury Housing Services.
- Provide engagement support and activities within our Independent Living Schemes.
- Organise community events.

Works with Tenants and Community Groups in Prestwich and Whitefield and the Independent Living and Extra Care schemes Clarks Hill, Top o'th Fields, Stanhope Court and Peachment Place.
Debbie Standring
Works with Tenants and Community Groups in Radcliffe and the Independent Living and Extra Care schemes Red Bank, Waverly Place and Moorfield.
Jane Straccia and Lisa Ivatt
Works with Tenants and Community Groups in Bury East and Bury North and the Independent Living and Extra Care schemes Falcon House, Griffin House, Harwood House, Taylor House, Mosses House and Wellington House.
