Cemetery enquiries
Bury Cemetery Office has a strict appointment system, so please make an appointment before visiting. The opening hours for Bury Cemetery Office are:
- Monday to Thursday: 8am to 4pm
- Friday: 8am to 1pm.

If you need to book a funeral outside of these opening hours, such as on a weekend or bank holiday, please call our Emergency Duty team on 0161 253 6639 or 0161 253 6606.
When contacting the cemetery office, please note:
- if our office staff are unable to take your call, please leave a message with your name and telephone number and we will call you back as soon as possible
- all written communications in connection with your grave should be addressed to: The Cemetery Registrar, Bury Cemetery, St Peters Road, Bury, BL9 9RL
- you should quote the grave reference on any correspondence with us. Our office is closed at weekends and whenever staff are attending funerals at other cemeteries
- if you require advice on any matter in connection with your grave or concerning the cemetery, our office staff will be pleased to assist you.
