Adoption Now brings together the local adoptions services for six areas in Greater Manchester and Lancashire in the North West of England - Blackburn with Darwen, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Tameside, and Oldham, working in partnership with two voluntary adoption agencies, Caritas Care and Adoption Matters.
The core purpose of Adoption Now is to deliver a:
- High quality, child-centred, and efficient family finding service for children who have a plan for adoption
- Robust, responsive and sensitive adopter approval service
- Highly skilled and professional support service for adopters, adopted children, adopted adults and birth parents
