Greater Manchester Clean Air Zone
Work is well under way to get ready for the Greater Manchester-wide Clean Air Zone launching next spring, with Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras and signage starting to be rolled out across Bury and throughout Greater Manchester.
Residents are also being asked for their views on two proposed inclusions to the Greater Manchester-wide Clean Air Zone.
Following last year's public consultation, all Greater Manchester local authorities have approved the GM Clean Air Plan. The Clean Air Zone will launch on 30 May 2022, with some discounts and exemptions. Now we need your feedback on two issues affecting leisure vehicles and roads in the Worsley area of Salford.
A six-week consultation is taking place on these two issues from 1 September to 13 October 2021.
