Important information: Temporary closure of libraries and archives
Please be aware that to help protect you and others during the coronavirus outbreak we have taken the decision to temporarily close all libraries in the Borough of Bury and Bury Archives.
This means Bury Archives, Bury Library, Prestwich Library and Adult Learning Centre, Radcliffe Library, and Ramsbottom Library and Adult Learning Centre, will not be open to the public until further notice. Also, we've had to put a hold on the home delivery service for the time being.
Please understand this decision is necessary to help protect the vulnerable and minimise the spread of coronavirus.
What's the situation with my current loans, overdue charges, and reservation pick-up times?
Do not worry about anything you have borrowed from us, we have dropped all overdue charges and we will be continuing to monitor due dates and extending loan periods and reservation pick-up times whilst we are closed.
What's happening with the home delivery service?
Sadly we're unable to continue delivering to our customers at the moment. Customers who have provided contact telephone numbers are being contacted about this. If you know of someone who uses this service, and may not have provided a contact telephone number, please let them know what's happening. We will be contacting customers again about the restart of the service.
Which services can I access from outside the library?
eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines
