The vision for Greater Manchester is a more prosperous Greater Manchester that can compete on the global stage - to attract more investment and businesses, skilled workers and tourists, ensuring that all residents and places share in the benefits of growth and greater prosperity.
The Greater Manchester Spatial Framework is central to this and is an ambitious plan for the future which all ten districts across Greater Manchester have worked on together as the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. It is a plan for across the city region over the next 20 years and beyond.
How can I have my say on the plans?
Formal consultation on the first draft of the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework has now ended. The consultation period ran from 31 October 2016 to 16 January 2017.
All comments received during this period will be considered and used to inform how the plan is taken forward.
