Contract parking permits are available for people who regularly park in Bury Town Centre. They are a cheaper alternative to paying for your parking on a daily basis.

Complete the form, make your payment online and your permit will be posted to you within 5 working days.

Who can apply?

We can only accept applications for named individuals. If you are applying on behalf of a business we need you to specify who each permit is for. Permits are for private cars and other vehicles less than 3.5 tonnes gross in weight.

A permits will be valid for up to two vehicles, and you will need to tell us their registration numbers. The permit is transferable between vehicles but it can only be valid for one of them at any one time. How much does it cost?

Contract parking permits are available for different lengths of time:

The permit allows you to park in the following council owned car parks in Bury town centre.

  • Bolton Street Station
  • Bury Market
  • Castle Leisure Centre
  • Foundry Street
  • George Street
  • Irwell Street
  • Manchester Road
  • Moorgate (not the Primary Care Centre car park)
  • Trinity Street

Please make sure the permit is displayed in the vehicle you are using.

Changing the details of your registered vehicles

If you change your vehicle we need to know about your new car.

Please let us know us using the contact details at the bottom of this page and we will send you a new permit. Please do not alter the permit yourself as this will make it invalid.

There is a charge of £10 to amend the car details on your permit.

Please note that if the details on your permit are incorrect a Penalty Charge Notice may be issued.
