Missed bin collections on Friday 6 March
The following bins were missed due to operational issues.
- Blue bins in Ramsbottom (leave your bin(s) out we will empty them as soon as we can): The area around Bolton Road West, Carrwood Hey Estate, Sims Close, Geoffry Street, Alfred Street, George Road Estate, Dundee Lane, Garnett Street, Major Street, Spring Street, Callander Street and Victoria Street, Albert Street
- Green bins in Tottington/Greenmount (we plan to empty these bins on Saturday 7 March): The area around Market Street, Wesley Street, Turton Road, Woodstock Drive, Holcombe Road, Hollymount Village, Hunt Fold estate, Royds Street, Kirklees estate, Brandlesholme Road
- Brown bins in Elton/Brandlesholme (we plan to empty these bins on Monday 9 March): The area around Tottington Road, Valley View, Croston Road, Merton Street, Bankhouse Road, Dunsters Avenue, Brandlesolme Road, Garsidehey Road and Kingsbury Close
The following bins were missed due to lack of access. Leave bins out we will empty them as soon as we can.
- Grey bins in Bury: Eldon Street, Marquis Avenue, Vernon Street.
- Green bins in Tottington: Elder Close
- Blue bins in Ramsbottom: Part of Bolton Road West, Cemetery Road.
Missed bin collections on Thursday 5 March
Please leave your bin(s) out for emptying.
- Grey bins in Bury (we plan to empty these bins on Saturday 7 March): Part of Heywood Street and part of Ingham Place.
- Brown bins in Bury (we plan to empty these bins on Monday 9 March): Shepherd Street, Spring Street, Andrew Street, Palace Street, part Radcliffe Road, part Manchester Road, Caton Close, Cleveleys Avenue, Inglewhite Close, Ribchester Drive, Read Close, Openshaw Fold Road, Milton Drive, Padiham Close, Mellor Drive, Bealey Drive, Shoreham Close, Warth Road
When to report a missed bin
- Wait until after 5pm on your collection day and report it to us before 1pm the following day.
Do not report a missed collection if your bin:
- Wasn't at the kerbside or your collection point by 7am
- Is too full and the lid is not fully closed
- Has incorrect items within it (check our bins information).
What happens after reporting a missed bin
- For a missed blue, green or grey bin collection we will post official bags for you to use until your next scheduled collection
- For a missed brown bin collection we will return within 5 working days
- For a missed assisted bin collection we will return within 3 working days.
