Bury Council, in common with most other public bodies in the UK, must publish information to show how we comply with the Public Sector Equality Duty under the Equality Act 2010. This new duty has effect from 31 January 2012.
We initially assessed our services in terms of equality and agreed with them what equality information they should be publishing on an annual basis. Most services will publish that information on their departmental equality information pages - for Chief Executives Department, Children's Services and Environment and Development Services see the links to the left.
Most corporate Equality Information will be published on this page - for example the current Employment Equality Report is attached below, as is our Equal Pay Audit Report. Other corporate documents can be found by using the related links.
