    Book your place on one of the forthcoming sessions - Monday 10 June 2-4 pm, Wednesday 19 June 2-4 pm, Friday 28 June 10-12 noon to get help and support in tracing your family history.

  • Bury Library Service Donation Station

    In helping to support Cancer Research UK, Moorside Community Centre & Library are now acting as a 'donation Station' where people can drop their unwanted clothing and bric-a-brac rather than driving into Bury.

    Ramsbottom Library & Adult Learning Centre acted as one of the host venues for the first of it's time 'Christie Factor Quiz' on Thursday, 16 May 2013.

  • Compare the websites with Bury Library Service

    Special drop-in sessions have been organised with Bury Library Service to help people look at the various comparison websites to ensure that they are getting the best deals for gas, electric, water etc.

  • Problems with Hearing - Need some help?

    Working in partnership Bury Audiology Unit Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, Bury Society for Deaf & Hearing Impaired People, Bury Libraries Sensory Unit, Sensory Team Adult Care Services and Action on Hearing Loss, organise regular monthly sessions offering help and advice for people with a hearing impairment.

  • eBooks available from Bury Libraries

    As a member of Bury Libraries you can now download a range of popular eBooks from the Overdrive library eBook service. Books can be read online or offline in any modern web browser, as well as a range of ePub compatible eBook readers (Kobo, NOOK, Sony). There are also apps for Apple, Android and Windows mobile devices.

  • New Knit & Natter sessions

    Due to increasing popularity the Coronation Clickers Knitting Group, which regularly meets Tuesdays 10-12 pm, have now organised an additional session every Monday 10-12pm.

  • Wanted - WW1 Memorabilia

    Bury Archives Service are appealing to members of the local community for their help. In 2014 it will be the 100th anniversary of the First World War and the Archives Service want to start putting together a special collection to commemorate this historic event.
