Pool timetable - during term time

Swimming sessions

Adults only

This session is for adults aged 16 and over. The pool may be divided into lanes to allow you to swim at your own pace and to have an uninterrupted swim.

Monday to Friday, 7.15am to 9am.
Tuesdays, 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
Wednesdays, 8pm to 9pm.
Fridays, 7pm to 8pm (includes Swimfit session).

General swim

This general swim session is ideal for all ages and abilities. Part of the pool may be sectioned-off for swimming lessons.

Mondays, 9am to 12noon and 1pm to 7.00pm.
Tuesdays, 9am to 12noon and 1pm to 2.45pm (last admission 2.15pm) and 3.45pm to 6.30pm.
Wednesdays, 9am to 12noon and 1pm to 7pm.
Thursdays, 9am to 12noon and 1pm to 2pm.
Fridays, 9am to 12noon and 1pm to 2pm and 5.30pm to 6pm. 
Saturdays, 10.30am to 3pm (Includes inflatable session 2pm-3pm)

Family swim

Please note: The pool closes for public swimming at 12pm on Sundays.

A session popular with families, offering them a chance to get fit and have fun in the pool. For adults and children under 16 who are accompanied by adults. Part of the pool may be sectioned-off for swimming lessons.

Sundays, 9am to 12noon.

Lane swim

During these sessions the pool is divided into lanes to allow you to swim at your own pace.

Monday to Friday, 12noon to 1pm.
Mondays, 7pm to 8pm.
Saturdays, 8am to 9am
Sundays, 8am to 9am

Fun sessions

A wet and wild fun session with mats, rings and other play equipment in the pool. The fun session is open to all ages and abilities.

Disco swim, Fridays 6pm to 7pm.
Inflatable fun session, Saturdays, 2pm to 3pm.

Please note: Normal pool admission policy applies.

Splash Time

A fun session for families and children under the age of 5. With all new floats, toys and small inflatables in the pool, suited to babies and young children.

Saturdays, 12.30pm to 1.30pm
Sundays, 11am to 12noon

Parent and toddler

Wednesdays, 9.30am to 10.30am.

Fitness sessions

Aqua Tai Chi

Aqua Tai Chi is practised in water that is about chest deep and the effects are improved strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and posture. Aqua Tai Chi is also a great exercise to practise if you need to de-stress from your daily life.

Fridays, 1pm to 1:45pm

Aqua aerobics

A workout in the water! A qualified instructor will guide you through a routine in the shallow end of the main pool.

Tuesdays, 1pm to 1.45pm and Wednesdays, 7pm to 7.45pm.
