Comments, complaints or suggestions?
You can use the "Your comments" form to make any comments, complaints or suggestions about council services or the way you have been treated. We are always aiming to improve our services so we need to know where we are performing well as well as where we could improve.
To make comments, suggestions or complaints you can complete the online form or print off, complete and either:
- Give it in to the place you are making your complaint about;
- Send it to the Departments customer care officer.
You do not have to make the complaint yourself - someone can complain on your behalf and be your representative or spokesperson. This could be for example a relative, a friend or someone from a voluntary agency.
These leaflets are available in a variety of languages, in Braille, in large print and on cassette. You can also use our minicom facilities. We will deal with all complaints impartially, objectively, professionally and in confidence.
If, as a result of your complaint, you are not happy with the way in which it was handled by the council, you can also contact the ombudsman or Citizens Advice Bureau.
