Your local library

Bury Library Service runs 17 libraries where you can borrow books, talking books, DVDs CDs and videos. You can also use our computers to access the Internet and Microsoft Office programmes. Book loans and computer access are free, we do make a charge for loans of other materials. You can find information using our Reference and Information Services, based in Bury Central Library who have access to information sources that are not generally available on the Internet. Many libraries are Council Information Points that can help you access Bury Council Services.
