Public inspection of council accounts is open

From Monday 25 June to Friday 20 July 2012 between 9am and 5pm anyone interested may inspect, and make copies of, the accounts of the above named council for the year ended 31 March 2012, and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating to them. The accounts and other documents will be available for inspection at the offices at which they are normally kept, or otherwise by arrangement. Applications should be made initially to the Assistant Director of Resources (Finance & Efficiency), Town Hall, Bury, BL9 0SW. Telephone 0161 253 6922. A copy of the draft pre-audited accounts can be viewed from 27 June on the Bury website under ‘Council and Democracy’, ‘Council Tax & Finance’.
