Description of service:

SkillForce is an Educational charity working with 6 -19 year old young people. In partnership with schools we deliver a curriculum and activities that provide young people with knowledge, skills, experience and long term personal support and most importantly, the self belief to aspire and achieve. Our vision is that every young person, whatever their background or ability is given the chance to fulfil their true potential and become a valued member of the community. Accessible, interesting, stimulating and fun, our curriculum and activities are delivered by instructors who are predominantly from an ex-Services background - their life experiences enable them to quickly establish themselves as strong role models and secure the commitment of young people to achieve success in their lives. SkillForce programmes achieve positive and permanent change in young people's lives
