You can access thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks and over 90 eMagazines for free on your smartphone, tablet or computer. There are no overdue charges and items will be automatically returned at the end of the loan period.

You can borrow up to 5 eBooks and 4 eAudiobooks at a time, each for up to 21 days. Use your account to renew your loans, return items early and reserve items if they're currently on loan.

Not signed up to BorrowBox?

  1. You'll need your library card number so that you can create an account. Not a member already? Then join Bury Libraries.
  2. To get eBooks and eAudiobooks on a mobile device download the BorrowBox app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  3. Once you've installed the app, search for Bury Libraries in the 'Library' field, and log in using your library membership card number and password.
  4. If you're using a laptop or desktop computer you can browse and download titles from BorrowBox.

You can read full digital copies of your favourite magazines on your computer or mobile device.

Not signed up to RBdigital?

  1. You'll need your library card number so that you can create an account. Not a member already? Then join Bury Libraries.
  2. You'll need to sign up with RBdigital Greater Manchester.
  3. Once your account is created you can browse the eMagazine library.
  4. To view eMagazines on a mobile device download the RBdigital app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  5. You can borrow an unlimited number of magazines to keep forever or delete them from your device when you've finished.
