ENLIGHTEN Bury is a new sound and light festival bringing a stellar programme of world premieres, award winning artworks and international musicians to Bury town centre.
Curated Place have partnered with Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Centre to develop ENLIGHTEN Bury, a new sound and light festival that will take place over two nights, reinventing the experience of Light Night into a town-spanning art installation trail alongside an international music festival.

Street lighting information
To create the magical experience of the Enlighten festival, we have reduced some of the normal street lighting. Please bear this in mind and take care when walking around the town.
Road closures and parking suspensions
On Friday 20 and Saturday 21 October there will be road closures and parking suspensions at the following locations from 5pm to 10pm.
- Bolton Street (from the East Lancashire Railway to Market Place)
- Broad Street
- Crompton Street
- Castle Street
- Manchester Road (between Moss Street and St Mary's Place)
- Market Place
- Market Street
- The Rock (from Market Place to Union Street)
- The Wylde
While the road closures are in place, the hackney carriage stand on Haymarket Street will be located on the other side of the road.
